I am a computer engineer and I work as an applications engineer for a multi billion dollar computer integrator/distributor. I am also an audiophile. I love music and really enjoy listening via high quality hifi gear, and not that MP3/AAC garbage. I have been an avid Sony ES fan for years; bought my first piece back in 1991 (Sony CDP-X55ES). I also am very fond of JBL, Boston Acoustics "VR" speakers and Monitor Audio speakers. Recently I came accross Emotiva & Outlaw Audio and I find their gear quite nice for the price. I showcase some of my gear in the gallery section on my web site.
I get a lot of questions about which hardware and software I use. For the past 20 years I have been primarily a Windows and Linux guy. I spent most of my time managing and designing with Windows and Linux for my customers and for myself. Lately however I have been drawn to the MAC, and now my primary machine is a 27 inch iMAC.
